The day is finally here. It's surreal and we're depending on our lists and itinerary to tell us where to go and what to do. We're also depending on all the love and prayers of our friends and family that have lifted us up and carried us this far. I don't think I am very brave on my own. But with you, it feels like we have an army behind us. And this feels like a rescue mission. Our daughter needs us to go get her and bring her home.
Your small army of prayer warriors grew in the last few days to a mighty force. Adoption is an afront to the enemy and he will do everything he can to stop them. But God. But God. I am so grateful to be a tiny little part in your journey. I love adoption. I love the hard ones because it is in those that we are allowed to see God's heart for the orphan, the helpless, the needy. It is in adoption that we are confronted with our own desperate need for someone to rescue us. You are on a rescue mission - praying your girl home. Praying her home.
ReplyDeleteOh honey! If you've got Julia in your corner you DEFINITELY have a LARGE army of prayer warriors and adoption advocates out there! Praise God!!!
